This style should fit snug upon trying on as the soft lambskin nappa leather softens upon just a few minutes of wear. We do not recommend you go up a size larger than necessary as they would not be easy to walk in after softening.

Footwear is manufactured with a "last". This is a plastic form that each manufacturer uses to create the shoe.

Similar to apparel, each brand and manufacturer has their own standards for sample sizing. The entire run of sizes and fit are created from the original sample size.

Another factor is the country of manufacture and origin as there is special sizing for UK, Italy, China, U.S, etc. Please refer to our shoe fitting chart on product pages if you are interested in learning more about the comparissions.

For feet that are wider than normal or width B, the classic heels offer a very soft supple upper that can accommodate many feet widths. This style runs true to size but if you have a wider foot, we suggest selecting 1/2 a size up.

Our Pierrette flat ankle strap sandals are also great as they do run slightly wider than normal. This style runs 1/2 a size large.

We use recycled paper materials whenever possible and are always improving our packaging. Our business cards and Thank You notes are made of cotton paper on a 100 year old printing press.

Materials that are labeled as 'vegan', or 'pleather' are actually polyurethane (PU) which is a plastic.

We use only the highest quality natural materials that the earth has to offer with little to no plastics used in the making of our footwear. We use sustainable high-quality select leathers from Italian tanneries with natural metal shanks. Our heels are made of wood or leather with seldom exceptions of using plastic compound moulds. Our footwear is made of nearly all-natural components making it biodegradable.
